No to unethically AI generated images

I recognise the potential for good use of Ai in medicine and other fields, nothing against that.
We can debate if an Ai generated image is Art or not, we can speculate if Ai can be at some point creative, we can wonder (like I do) why an aspiring artist would deny themself the journey that is learning the fundamentals of art. We can debate all sort of stimulating topics around Ai art/creativity, but for the moment that is not the issue at hand. The problem is that AI softwares at this moment are being developed unethically, stealing from artists without their consent, while the alternatives that are being developed for music are not doing that, I wonder why.
I personally draw because I enjoy doing it, I can’t explain it well but I just feel a necessity, almost a compulsion to draw, and I’m sure most artists can relate to that, professionals or not. I personally do not understand why an artist would outsource something that is enjoyable, but I respect the decision to do so once we have Ai tools developed ethically. For the moment using the current ones is just being complicit to theft.
